Honor Set To Make Return To Indian Market With New Smartphone Launch
After a few years of absence, Honor may soon reenter the Indian smartphone market. Previously owned by Huawei, the brand is now an independent entity, enabling it to introduce its products in the country. According to reports, the Honor 90 could be the initial phone to signify its return to the Indian market.
Honor has been quite active with its mobile products in other markets, especially in China and Europe.
But the lack of Google Mobile Services (GMS) forced the brand to withdraw its interest in the Indian market, where Google apps are a big deal for consumers. Now that the Huawei phenomenon is out of the way, it looks like the Honor 90 will be released first during this year’s festive season, suggesting a September-October timeline for us.
When Honor phones were available in the country, people liked the products for their quality and overall value. After Honor exited the market, other Chinese brands like Redmi, Oppo and Vivo gained share, but these brands can compete with Honor again.
The company is said to have hired Madhav Sheth from Realme to lead its operations, which will also bring other people to lead the business in the country. So what can we expect from Honor in its early days after its comeback?

Based on these features and the current market situation, you can expect the Honor 90 to be priced around Rs 25,000 in India, on par with the likes of the Realme 10 Pro Plus and Redmi Note 12 Pro series.
